I think I'm caught up for a while...

That catches up what I've managed to finish and scan in so far this week. Now I'm supposed to be planning layouts to go scrapping at Archiver's on Wednesday, but so far I'm coming up zilch in the ideas department!

I really spent all afternoon yesterday working on straightening up my scrapbook room, along with finishing and scanning layouts. I got a lot accomplished, but there is still a lot to be done!

Well, I'm going to go stare at layout ideas again. Maybe my right brain will wake up by tomorrow!

Wedding Announcement layout

This is the wedding announcement from the paper for Tracy's nephew's wedding this summer. It was held out in Washington state, so we didn't get to go. This is all I have so it's all that's going in the Matthews album!

Doesn't matter what time of the day or night the kids arrive, they always ask (before they even get here) if they can get in the pool! So these pictures were taken the evening they arrived this year - at about 7 o'clock!

On the "First Things First" layout, I really used up some old stuff... the frames are from when I had my store - they are die cuts we used to sell. The words/phrases and poem are really old; and the paper (Doodlebug) isn't new itself!

A Panda and a Cat

Mei Lin, born at Zoo Atlanta in 2006. This layout will go in my "Georgia" album. I got the panda clip art off the Internet. Printed one with a white background and a couple with a black background.

My Google calendar was invaluable in completing this layout. There is no way I would have remembered everything we did last year, never mind the month we did it in!

I was cleaning out some old idea books and came across this layout. Some things are timeless.

Sunday Scrappin'

Well, it looks like my old scrapbooking blog got shut down (the whole site not just MY blog). So I'm starting a new one. Seems like this might be an easier way to share my layouts with friends and family.

Finished some layouts today that I had started on my Wednesday scrapping sessions with Carolyn at Archiver's in Buford.

Here's a couple of my favorites so far that I've gotten scanned in:





The first layout will be the title page for my Ranney heritage book. For those that don't know, my maternal grandmother was a Ranney. They were Yankees, poor things, but they are still my family.

The other layout is my cousin, Ricky. I've never actually met Ricky. He is my Aunt Evelyn's child (my mother's sister) and they have lived in California my entire life, and I haven't made it out there yet.

I'm still scanning so I'll post more later.
